LEMON VERBENA DISTILLATE (ALOYSIA CITRODORA):

Aloysia citrodora is a species of flowering plant in the verbena family Verbenaceae, native to western South America. Lemon verbena is a perennial shrub or subshrub growing to 2–3 m high. In very hot climates it grows much taller. It has a woody trunk and branches with tender stems holding long pointed leaves. Small, pale mauve flowers are produced from summer to autumn. Leaves have a strong lemon fragrance and flavor.
